NBA Basketball
NBA Basketball has been all about dynasties and when we talk about NBA Dynasties, none can compare to the dynasties set by NBA Legends like Michael Jordan and Larry Bird.
Since Jordan left the NBA, Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant built the Los Angeles Lakers dynasty led by a man who once coached Michael Jordan to all those NBA championships, Phil Jackson.
However, the three guys who spearheaded all these Laker campaigns had their own problems after a disappointing end to their season back in 2004. Phil Jackson and Shaquille O’Neal left while Kobe Bryant was left to lead a team merely a shell of its former form.
Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant has this feud ever since. Shaquille O’Neal, with new wingman Dwyane Wade, is still going for NBA titles with the Miami Heat while Kobe Bryant, now reunited with Phil Jackson, is still trying to relive the glory days of the defunct Los Angeles Lakers dynasty.
NBA Players
Rasheed Abdul Wallace (born September 17, 1974, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association. He currently plays power forward for the Detroit Pistons. At 6 ft 11 in (213 cm) and 230 lb (104.3 kg), Wallace plays power forward or center depending on the opposition.
Originally selected out of the University of North Carolina by the Washington Bullets (now the Wizards) in the 1995 NBA Draft, Wallace was named to the All-Rookie second team following his first season. Following the same season he and Harvey Grant were traded to the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Rod Strickland and Kevin Duckworth. He had a career high 42 points against the Denver Nuggets in 2000 and was a key member of the Blazers team that made it to the Western Conference Finals that same year. Wallace had a career best 19.4 points per game in 2002 for the Blazers.
Kobe Bean Bryant (born August 23, 1978(1978-08-23)) is an American All-Star shooting guard in the National Basketball Association (NBA) who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers. Bryant is the only son of former Philadelphia 76ers player and former Los Angeles Sparks head coach Joe “Jellybean” Bryant. He is generally regarded as one of the best players of his generation.
Bryant rose to national prominence in 1996 when he became the first guard in league history to be drafted out of high school. Bryant and then-teammate Shaquille O’Neal led the Lakers to three consecutive NBA championships from 2000 to 2002. Since O’Neal’s departure following the 2004 season, Bryant has become the cornerstone of the Lakers’ franchise, and was the NBA leading scorer during the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons.
Kevin Garnett
is a one of the top professional NBA basketball players (Minnesota Timberwolves, Boston Celtics). The 6 ft 11 in (2.11 m), 220 lb (100 kg/16 st) power forward[1] is regarded as one of the best all-around players in the NBA. After graduating from Farragut Career Academy, he was the fifth player drafted in 1995. He became the first NBA player drafted directly out of high school in 20 years. His accomplishments include being voted Most Valuable Player of the 2003-04 season, NBA Defensive Player of the Year of the 2007-08 season, being named to eleven All-Star teams and being named to eight All-NBA and All-Defensive Teams.[2] He is also the all-time leader in NBA seasons played with averages of at least 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. He obtained his first NBA Championship with the Boston Celtics in 2008, in only his 2nd season with the Boston Celtics. A feat he couldn’t achieve in Minnesota despite his long tenure with the Timberwolves.
