Kuyt is seen as one of the best strikers in Europe after dominating the Dutch League with Feyenoord, where he scored 71 goals in 101 games. He made the move to Rafa Benitez’s Liverpool in August 2006 for around £9million, but has been a peripheral figure, thanks in part to Rafa’s rotation system.
