Morgan has established himself as the club captain at the Blades after signing from Barnsley in 2003.

Starting his career at Barnsley in 1996 as a trainee, he made 182 appearances for the Tykes over six seasons, including their only season in the FA Cup.

He signed for Sheffield United in July 2003 and won the club’s Player of the Year in his first season.
