The towering centre half hasn’t had much of a chance to prove himself since joining from Preston in 2006.

A good reader of the game, and with a guarateed aerial ability that his height brings, Davis first signed for Preston North End from Portmore United, initially on loan but then permanently in March 2004.

During 2004/05 he started 27 matches for Preston and provided excellent competition for the current centre-backs Chris Lucketti and Youl Mawene.
